Consulo First Ltd is an international manufacturing business seeking an experienced Internal Sales/Technical Sales professional. The role focuses on supporting the Internal Sales function, guiding a team, and maintaining direct customer engagement to secure quotations, pricing and orders.

You do not need specific product experience, but strong ability to understand customer requirements and operate in a technical/manufacturing environment is essential for success and progression into supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service or Sales Administration.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong ability to handle quotations, enquiries and sales orders.
• Confident dealing with B2B customers by phone and email.
• Experience mentoring or guiding colleagues is advantageous.
• Commercial awareness for upselling and account development.
• Experience with ERP/CRM or order-processing systems; SAP helpful.

Responsibilities

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established international manufacturing business supplying engineered products and solutions into a diverse range of industrial, manufacturing, processing and material-handling applications.

We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales / Technical Sales professional who is ready to take greater responsibility within a busy customer-focused sales environment.

This would particularly suit somebody who has built strong experience within Internal Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, Technical Sales or Sales Administration and is now looking for the opportunity to progress into a supervisory position.

You do not need previous experience of our specific products. More important is your ability to understand customer requirements, work within a technical or manufacturing environment and support a team in delivering an excellent commercial service.

The Role

• Support the day-to-day operation of the Internal Sales function, helping ensure enquiries, quotations and orders are handled efficiently.
• Provide support and guidance to members of the Internal Sales team while maintaining your own involvement with customers and commercial activity.
• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, pricing, order processing and quotation follow-up.
• Develop relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to increase sales and account penetration.
• Work closely with Sales, Technical, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure customer requirements are delivered.
• Assist customers with product and application enquiries, working with technical colleagues where required.
• Help maintain high standards of customer service, response times, CRM/ERP accuracy and commercial follow-up.
• Support continuous improvement across internal sales processes and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within Internal Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, Sales Administration or Account Management.
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, automation, process, material-handling or technical distribution environment would be highly advantageous.
• Strong experience handling quotations, customer enquiries and sales orders.
• Confident dealing directly with B2B customers by telephone and email.
• Some experience supporting, mentoring, training or guiding colleagues would be advantageous – you do not necessarily need to already hold a Supervisor title.
• Commercially aware with the ability to recognise upselling, cross-selling and account-development opportunities.
• Experience using ERP, CRM or order-processing systems; SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• Technically curious and comfortable learning engineered products and applications.
