Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd on behalf of our Birmingham-based client seeks an experienced Internal Salesperson to join a growing team. This role focuses on handling customer enquiries, quotations, and orders with a practical, solution-oriented approach.

You will engage in telephone and email sales, build strong customer relationships and develop larger accounts, while promoting new products and offers in a busy trade environment.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in internal sales or sales administration in a customer-focused environment, ideally within an engineering, construction or trade-related sector.
• Experience within the fastener/fixings industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer enquiries and supporting customers from initial enquiry through to quotation and order.
• Handling incoming telephone calls and email sales enquiries.
• Preparing quotations and processing orders.
• Providing customers with product advice and practical solutions.
• Following up quotations and maximising sales opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Managing and developing larger customer accounts.
• Promoting new products and special offers.
• Supporting occasional trade counter sales.
• Working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service.
