Kraft Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Specialist for a busy Pools Division. The role is office-based, 37 hours per week, reporting to the Sales Manager. You will handle customer enquiries, provide quotations, input orders, and maintain product knowledge to grow sales.

Key candidates will have technical support experience with electrical or mechanical products, strong communication, and negotiation skills. A pension, health plan, and generous holiday are on offer.

Job description

My client is looking for a Pool Product Specialist to join their busy Pools Division to help deliver further growth. They offer a range of products required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres. Their ideal candidate will have proven internal sales or technical support experience with electrical or mechanical products.

Internal Sales Specialist role:

• Your role will be office based working 37 hours a week within a small and knowledgeable team.
• The successful Internal Sales Specialist will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for:
• Handle all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively
• Deal with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department
• Provide quotations where necessary
• Liaise with customers and building lasting relationships
• Receive and input telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and/or quotations
• Accompany Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate
• Occasional attendance of Trade Shows and Company-led seminars
• Liaise with Internal & External Sales Executives
• Promote product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated lines
• Maintain product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling products
• Provide documentation as required by the customer such as product specification
• Maintain knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability

Internal Sales Specialist requirement:

• Previous experience of working in the Swimming Pool industry would be desirable but not essential
• Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft software
• Ability to function in a high-paced environment
