Job summary

Certikin International is recruiting a Pool Product Specialist to join our Pools Division in Witney. The role focuses on handling technical and sales enquiries, providing quotations, and building lasting relationships with customers across residential and commercial pools.

You will work 37 hours per week in our office, using your technical ability and sales focus to upsell products, maintain knowledge of our in-house systems, and support our team with visits, trade shows, and product initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in swimming pool industry is desirable but not essential.
• Technical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focus.
• Knowledge of account management or prior sales experience advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software.
• Ability to function in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature promptly and effectively.
• Deal with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department.
• Provide quotations where necessary.
• Liaise with customers and build lasting relationships.
• Input telephone and email orders as a result of quotations and technical advice.
• Accompany Divisional Management or colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate.
• Occasionally attend Trade Shows and Company-led seminars.
• Liaise with Internal & External Sales Executives.
• Promote product initiatives and assist in promoting designated lines.
• Maintain product knowledge to influence and develop sales, including upselling.
• Provide documentation as required by the customer such as product specifications.

Do you have a technical ability? Or do you have experience within the mechanical and/or electrical industry and are you looking for a challenge within a technical support team?

Certikin International is looking for a Pool Product Specialist to join our busy Pools Division to help deliver further growth. Certikin International is a brand leader that delivers everything that is required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres.

The job includes:

• Handling all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectively
• Dealing with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing department
• Providing quotations where necessary
• Liaising with customers and building lasting relationships
• Receiving and inputting telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and/or quotations
• Accompanying Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriate

What will you bring to the role?

Your role will be office based working 37 hours a week within a small and knowledgeable team.

We are offering an annual salary of £30,000 depending on experience plus a performance related bonus.
