Job summary

CMR Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Manager to join our client, a leading supplier of construction consumables and equipment, serving major contractors and national housebuilders across the UK.

This hands-on leadership role will involve active involvement in customer enquiries, quotations and problem solving while guiding a small Internal Sales team to deliver excellent service and growth in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing inbound enquiries, delivering quotes and high-level customer service.
• Ability to take ownership of complex, high-value opportunities while protecting margin.
• Experience leading a small sales team and coaching others.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys being at the centre of the action. You'll remain actively involved in customer enquiries, quotations and problem solving while providing day-to-day support and guidance to a small Internal Sales team.

The responsibilities of the Internal Sales Manager include but are not limited to the following:
