This role focuses on internal sales with a technical parts background, emphasising product knowledge, customer relationships, and a proactive sales approach to close orders. The position is office-based in Huddersfield, with training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, B2B sales, or trade counter sales.
• Excellent telephone communication and customer-focused approach.
• Proactive sales mindset with ability to follow up opportunities.
• Attention to detail with product specs, quotations, and part numbers.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales enquiries via telephone and email from engineers and trade customers.
• Proactively follow up quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
• Identify correct components and offer suitable alternatives when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations and process orders.
• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse and logistics to fulfil orders efficiently.
• Provide customers with product availability, pricing and delivery information.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and develop repeat business.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and order management systems.
