Job summary

Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Internal Sales consultant to nurture client relationships, manage accounts and drive new business development in the waste management sector.

You will handle quotations, maintain CRM data, conduct regular account reviews and collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Accounts teams to ensure high service standards and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling customer enquiries and resolving queries to a positive outcome.
• Confident and professional communication of service information and requirements.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Quotation Management: Prepare and issue accurate service quotations with timely responses.
• CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date sales pipeline and contract term records.
• Customer Retention & Account Management: Conduct regular check-ins and reviews to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Internal Liaison: Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Accounts teams for seamless service delivery.
• Account Development: Review existing accounts to identify opportunities for growth and improved service levels.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales consultant to join a growing team, supporting client relationships, account management and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quotation Management: Prepare and issue accurate service quotations, ensuring customers receive timely and professional responses
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline information, ensuring client details, contact records and contract terms are correctly recorded
• Customer Retention & Account Management: Conduct regular check-in calls and account reviews to monitor customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to introduce additional waste management services
• Internal Liaison: Work closely with the Sales, Engineering and Accounts teams to ensure effective communication and seamless service delivery
• Account Development: Review existing customer accounts to identify opportunities for growth, improve service levels and maximise customer retention

Required Skills & Experience:

• Customer Service: Proven experience handling customer enquiries professionally, taking ownership of queries from initial contact through to resolution and ensuring a positive customer experience
• Communication Skills: The ability to communicate confidently and professionally, explaining service information and compliance requirements clearly to customers
• IT Skills: Confident using CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, alongside Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
