Job summary

Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Internal Sales consultant to support client relationships, account management and new business development.

Key responsibilities include preparing and issuing quotations, maintaining CRM pipeline, and driving customer retention. You will liaise with Sales, Engineering and Accounts teams to deliver exceptional service and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling customer enquiries professionally and taking ownership from initial contact through to resolution
• Ability to explain service information and compliance requirements clearly to customers
• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Quotation Management: Prepare and issue accurate service quotations
• CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date sales pipeline information and contract terms
• Customer Retention & Account Management: Conduct regular check-in calls and account reviews
• Internal Liaison: Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Accounts teams for seamless delivery
• Account Development: Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and maximize retention

Key Responsibilities:

• Quotation Management: Prepare and issue accurate service quotations, ensuring customers receive timely and professional responses
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline information, ensuring client details, contact records and contract terms are correctly recorded
• Customer Retention & Account Management: Conduct regular check-in calls and account reviews to monitor customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to introduce additional waste management services
• Internal Liaison: Work closely with the Sales, Engineering and Accounts teams to ensure effective communication and seamless service delivery
• Account Development: Review existing customer accounts to identify opportunities for growth, improve service levels and maximise customer retention

Required Skills & Experience:

• Customer Service: Proven experience handling customer enquiries professionally, taking ownership of queries from initial contact through to resolution and ensuring a positive customer experience
• Communication Skills: The ability to communicate confidently and professionally, explaining service information and compliance requirements clearly to customers
• IT Skills: Confident using CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, alongside Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
