Job summary

Atkore International in West Bromwich is seeking an organized customer service administrator to manage orders, respond to queries, and promote the company’s products. You will use Infor and Salesforce to process orders and liaise with internal teams.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent required.
• Computer literate – Word and Excel at intermediate level or above.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or Infor) desirable.
• Good telephone manner essential for customer contact.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Use computerised systems (Infor and Salesforce) to process orders, check inventory and respond to customer issues.
• Process and progress orders through to dispatch.
• Maintain telephone contact with customers, external sales teams and transport companies.
• Respond to customer enquiries on stock, pricing and discounts; provide 1st level technical support where possible.
• Engage in outbound telephone activity to promote sales and inactive accounts.
• Provide information to the external sales team on quotations and customer accounts.
• Organise transport for non-standard deliveries and escalate delivery issues as needed.
• Co-ordinate with other departments on product manufacture and assembly matters.
• Provide general administrative duties to support the UK team as directed by Team Leader.
