The role involves managing incoming enquiries, coordinating quotations, and liaising between clients and Account Managers. The ideal candidate has experience in internal sales or sales support and knowledge of CRM systems. Salary is 28,000 - 32,000 with benefits, and a strong focus on organisation and communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales or sales support is required.
• Construction/infrastructure or civil engineering exposure is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using CRM systems such as Pipedrive is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming sales enquiries and record information accurately.
• Review enquiries to ensure sufficient data for quotations.
• Prepare, coordinate and submit quotations to clients.
• Follow up on quotations and support conversion to projects.
• Maintain customer, lead and project data in the CRM.
• Monitor opportunities and update on quotation progress.
• Support Account Managers with proposals, tenders, PQQs, and client presentations.
• Liaise with internal teams to progress enquiries.

Our client, a leading UK contractor specialising in surfacing and infrastructure projects, is seeking an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their growing team based in Shoreditch, East London,.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales function, managing incoming enquiries, coordinating quotations and ensuring effective communication between clients and Account Managers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially minded individual with experience in internal sales, sales administration or sales support. Experience within construction, civil engineering or a related industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Internal Sales Coordinator Job Overview

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Pipedrive or similar would be beneficial.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotations, documentation and customer correspondence.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider sales team.
