Job summary

Elate Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales Coordinator to join the Chesterfield area. You will support the sales team by preparing quotations, processing orders and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential: 3+ years in Internal Sales or Customer Service, excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Sage. Desirable: experience in manufacturing/engineering environments.

Internal Sales Coordinator

Location: Chesterfield Area

Salary: £28,000 per annum

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys building customer relationships, preparing quotations and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
• Managing customer enquiries and providing excellent customer support.
• Liaising with customers to understand their requirements.
• Obtaining supplier quotations and supporting contract bids.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Processing sales and purchase orders using Sage.
• Supporting the sales team to achieve business targets and KPIs.

About You

Essential:

• At least 3 years' experience in an Internal Sales, Sales Coordinator or Customer Service role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills, including Sage or a similar ERP system.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach.

Desirable:

• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings or specifications.
