Job summary

Next Generation is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator in Tewkesbury to support the commercial team through the full order lifecycle. This role sits at the heart of the business, coordinating between Sales, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will have experience in sales admin, data handling, and CRM/ERP systems, with strong Excel skills and excellent cross-team communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage order data across internal systems and CRM.
• Act as a key link between Sales, Supply Chain and Production.
• Support Account Managers with order queries and updates.
• Monitor orders and flag issues (pricing, stock, lead times).
• Keep records up to date and maintain data accuracy.
• Produce reports and updates for internal teams.

Job Title: Internal Sales Administrator

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Hours: Monday - Friday

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

We are currently working with a well established engineering business in Tewkesbury who are looking to bring in an Internal Sales Administrator to support their growing commercial team.

This is a newly created role, sitting right at the heart of the business, supporting the full order process and working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production.

It's a great Internal Sales Admin opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, detail-focused role, and is looking for a position that offers long-term progression into Account Management.

Internal Sales Admin Duties Will Include:

This is a busy and varied position where you'll be responsible for making sure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, and that all internal teams have the information they need to deliver on time.

• Processing customer orders and ensuring all details are accurate
• Managing order data across internal systems and CRM (Salesforce)
• Acting as a key link between Sales, Supply Chain, and Production
• Supporting Account Managers with order queries and updates
• Monitoring orders and flagging any issues (pricing, stock, lead times etc.)
• Keeping records up to date and maintaining strong data accuracy
• Producing reports and updates for internal teams

Skills and Experience needed:

• Previous experience in sales admin, order processing, or customer service (ideally within engineering/manufacturing)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload
• Experience using CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce would be a bonus)
• Good Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data handling etc.)
• Confident communicator who can work across different teams
• Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise
