Job summary

The People Pod in Bolton is seeking an Internal Sales Account Manager to join our growing electrical cable distribution business. You will handle an established portfolio of trade customers, act as their trusted contact for quotations, pricing, product advice and ongoing account management.

This role focuses on strong customer relationships, problem solving and timely order fulfilment in a fast-paced environment, with progression opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wholesale, cable distribution or technical trade sales is required.
• Ability to produce quotations and manage pricing while protecting margin.
• Strong relationship building and account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of electrical contractors, OEMs, wholesalers and industrial customers.
• Produce competitive quotations and convert inquiries into orders.
• Negotiate commercially while protecting margin.
• Build repeat business and identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Liaise with suppliers to source products and manage availability.
• Update CRM and support the wider sales team.
• Collaborate with purchasing and logistics to deliver excellent customer service.
