Job summary

The People Pod is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Account Manager to join a busy electrical trading environment in the Greater Manchester area. You will manage an established portfolio of electrical contractors, wholesalers and industrial customers, handling quotations, pricing and ongoing account management with a trusted, service-oriented approach.

You'll build long-term relationships, solve customer problems, and help contractors get what they need when they need it, in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Experience in electrical wholesale, cable distribution or technical trade sales.
Ability to produce competitive quotations and pricing.
Proven track record in growing and protecting margins.
Strong relationship building with contractors, installers and industrial customers.
Comfortable in a busy, fast-moving environment with great customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage an established portfolio of electrical contractors, OEMs, wholesalers and industrial customers.
Produce competitive quotations and convert enquiries into orders.
Negotiate commercially while protecting margin.
Build repeat business and identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
Liaise with suppliers to source products and manage availability.
Work closely with purchasing and logistics to deliver excellent customer service.
Update CRM and support the wider sales team.
