Job summary

AMA Admin in Nottingham is seeking an ambitious Internal Sales or Account Manager to join a high-performing commercial team. You will manage a portfolio, generate quotations, process orders and identify opportunities to maximise sales and margin.

Working Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with a competitive salary and yearly bonus, this role offers progression, training and a supportive culture within a growing UK business. Industry experience in metals is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Internal Sales, Account Management, Sales Support or Technical Sales.
• Proven track record of building customer relationships and growing accounts.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial distribution or similar B2B sales advantageous but not essential.
• Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building ability.
• Organised, proactive and customer focused.
• Experience using CRM or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing an existing customer portfolio.
• Building long-term relationships with customers across sectors.
• Preparing quotations and proactively following up opportunities.
• Processing customer orders and coordinating with internal departments.
• Negotiating pricing and commercial agreements.
• Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Working closely with External Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records.
• Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
