Job summary

Hunter Selection in Newport is seeking an Internal Sales professional to support a leading mechanical components manufacturer serving international clients. You will handle enquiries, advise on product selections and build strong customer relations.

In this role you will process orders in the ERP system, prepare quotations from price lists, and contribute to timely delivery by ensuring accurate stock information and delivery planning.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Internal Sales or Technical Sales role.
• Ideally manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings.

Role & Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to customer enquiries
• Select and advise customers on suitable product selection
• Develop and maintain customer relations
• Promptly respond to customer enquiries by telephone and e-mails
• Prepare quotations from either Price Lists or from supplier costs
• To accurately prepare quotations ensuring accurate delivery considering available stock
• To process orders in the ERP system

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an Internal Sales or Technical Sales role
• Ideally manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings
