Job summary

Jobwise Ltd in Leigh is seeking an Internal Sales professional to build relationships with customers, understand needs and support a busy team.

You’ll handle inquiries, quotes and stock checks while liaising with suppliers to ensure product availability. Starting salary is £27,000, rising to £28,000 after 6 months. A friendly team and clear career progression await.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration, account management, sales support, customer service or a similar role.
• Office-based experience and a confident, friendly telephone manner.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and email.
• Proactive approach and the ability to take ownership.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• The confidence to speak to customers and build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Speak with existing and lapsed customers and build strong relationships.
• Handle inbound enquiries and make outbound calls to customers.
• Quote customers and provide advice on products and availability.
• Check stock levels and suggest alternative or additional products.
• Liaise with UK and overseas suppliers for pricing and product information.
• Work with customers and internal teams to resolve order issues.

What will you be doing as Internal Sales?

Working as part of a small and friendly team, you'll be helping customers with their day-to-day requirements while developing strong, long-term relationships. Your day could include:

• Speaking with existing and lapsed customers and building strong relationships
• Handling inbound enquiries and making outbound calls to customers
• Quoting customers and providing advice on products and availability
• Checking stock levels and suggesting alternative or additional products where appropriate
• Liaising with suppliers in the UK and overseas to obtain pricing and product information
• Working closely with customers and internal departments to resolve any order issues
• Keeping customer websites updated with the latest product range
• Monitoring customer spend and product trends
