Job summary

Rhodium Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected industrial electrical distributor in Gateshead. You will join a well-established business with a loyal customer base and a company that values its people.

The role focuses on handling enquiries and orders by phone, developing existing and new customers, and contributing to service quality and growth. A negotiable salary, pension, bonus scheme and on-site parking are included.

• Confident telephone manner.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone, taking enquiries and orders plus processing, responding to and chasing quotes and orders.
• Assisting customers with quotations, product information and pricing queries.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
• Undertake proactive call outs to dormant account holders and seek potential new accounts.
