Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group in Altrincham is seeking an hands-on HR professional to focus on internal recruitment, coordinating with managers to fill vacancies and move processes forward. You’ll be responsible for sourcing candidates, screening applications, arranging interviews and ensuring a smooth handover into onboarding.

You’ll also review onboarding, employee records and health and safety documentation, maintaining a consistent interview process and helping managers improve the selection

Qualifications

• Experience managing recruitment from vacancy brief through to offer, ideally for internal roles.
• Confidence sourcing candidates directly, rather than relying only on applications.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• The ability to work with managers, challenge a brief when needed and follow up on decisions.
• A practical understanding of onboarding and HR administration.

Responsibilities

• Take briefs from hiring managers and turn them into clear job adverts and candidate searches
• Source and approach candidates for internal roles
• Screen applications, arrange interviews and keep candidates updated
• Help managers maintain a consistent interview and selection process
• Coordinate offers and improve the handover into onboarding
• Review our onboarding documents, employee records and routine HR administration
• Help organise health and safety records and documentation, flagging gaps for the appropriate person to address
• Recommend practical improvements that the team can continue using after the contract ends
