Job summary

ST CHRISTOPHERS HOSPICE is seeking an Internal Communications and Engagement Officer in Sydenham to strengthen how we communicate, engage and inform colleagues across the organisation. You will own staff communications, produce our internal newsletter and manage intranet content with a practical, people-focused approach.

The role collaborates with diverse teams, from clinical care to fundraising and retail, and encourages the use of data and approved AI tools to improve planning and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, communications, marketing or employee engagement.
• Strong writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex information into clear content.
• Experience creating content across formats: articles, newsletters, posters, presentations, digital content, video.
• Experience working across multiple channels and improving their effectiveness.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to balance regular communications with project/campaign work.

Responsibilities

• Create content across intranet, newsletters, posters, presentations, digital content and videos.
• Own regular staff communications including the internal newsletter and intranet updates.
• Support campaigns, projects and engagement activities across the organisation.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to support priorities and channels.
• Explore insight, data and approved AI tools to improve planning and execution.
