Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer (Internal Communications) to connect, engage, and inform colleagues across the organisation. The role covers intranet content, newsletters, video content, and our quarterly magazine, with a focus on celebrating achievements and promoting culture and values.

The fixed-term maternity cover role starts around 19 October 2026 and runs until 30 July 2027, with hybrid working and travel to care homes as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an internal communications, marketing, or similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience creating engaging content for different audiences and channels.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Confidence building relationships and working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience using digital communication tools and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content across internal channels (intranet, newsletters, app, magazines).
• Lead the production of the quarterly The Exemplar Buzz magazine and engagement campaigns.
• Coordinate communications to support change, learning, recognition and culture.
