Job summary

St Christopher’s is looking for an Internal Communications and Engagement Officer to build clear, engaging internal communications across the hospice. You will work closely with the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to help colleagues feel informed, connected and engaged with our purpose, strategy and values.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, communications, marketing or employee engagement.
• Strong writing and editing skills; translate complex information into clear content.
• Experience creating content across formats: articles, newsletters, posters, presentations, digital content and video.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of regular staff communications, including producing internal newsletter and keeping intranet up to date.
• Support delivery of campaigns, projects and engagement activities.
• Gather stories and feedback from across the organisation to represent diverse colleague voices.
• Collaborate with teams to support campaigns and organisational priorities.
• Use insight and approved AI tools to improve planning, content creation and engagement.
