Job summary

Monzo is seeking an Internal Communications professional to plan and own core operational work within the Internal Comms team. You will partner with People Team and Operations to craft targeted comms plans, manage rollouts, and keep messaging consistent across the business.

You’ll work cross-functionally, using data to measure impact, deliver engaging copy, and create on-brand visuals for wide audiences. A proactive, collaborative mindset and attention to privacy and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of comms experience or a role with cross-group communication.
• Ability to plan and own core operational work and projects.
• Proficient in using comms tools and data to measure impact.
• Strong copywriting with attention to tone, spelling and grammar.
• Comfortable presenting to stakeholders and guiding messaging.
• High emotional intelligence and collaborative mindset.
• Committed to data privacy and compliant communications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with People Team and Operations to deliver targeted comms plans using our tone of voice.
• Support company-wide projects and campaigns with clear rollout plans.
• Own communications trackers and measure outcomes with data.
• Create on-brand visuals and slide decks for wide teams.
• Keep processes simple, compliant, and up to date.
• Run workshops and share comms tips with managers.
• Represent internal comms in project groups.
• Ensure messaging lands at the right time for all audiences.
