Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking an Audit Consultant to assess cyber maturity and compliance levels, helping customers remediate security issues in a way aligned with their objectives. The role involves working in a blended hybrid model, with collaboration across offices and customer sites to ensure close teamwork and delivery.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of consultants, engineers and domain specialists, contributing to projects that improve security posture and align with regulatory

Qualifications

• Studying towards a recognised professional certification in Cyber Security or directly equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders with empathy and balance listening with speaking.
• Willingness to gain experience mentoring junior team members.
• Basic understanding of security frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, ISO/IEC 27002, IEC 62443.
• Familiarity with measuring security maturity and compliance against criteria.

Responsibilities

• Relate to customers by listening and empathising to understand their problem.
• Define potential solutions based on experience and technical knowledge.
• Assess security problems using a risk-based approach and link to customer objectives.
• Define proportionate security solutions across people, process and technology.
• Assist in assessments of customer environments against criteria spanning people, process and technology.
• Support building viable offerings and contribute to product development and delivery.
