Job summary

Hippo Digital Limited is seeking an intermediate consultant in user research to design, plan and conduct research driving user-centred service design. You will work with designers, product owners and developers in Agile teams to test services and explain design decisions to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with senior stakeholders
• Experience using different research methods (qualitative and quantitative) to gain insights
• Working knowledge of user-centred design principles and practices
• Understanding of a client’s strategic objectives and how insights support them
• Ability to explain findings and handle stakeholder challenges

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a range of user research to support product design
• Identify the most appropriate research methods for each service lifecycle phase
• Help the team build empathy for service users
• Support usability evaluation sessions
• Use tools to collect data and write research reports to present findings
• Present findings, design/business recommendations and customer insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with Agile, multidisciplinary teams in a user-centred design process
• Learn from insights to define and improve the service and explain decisions
• Run workshops with the team and stakeholders
• Share best practices with the Hippo research and design community
