Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a talented and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team at UK Power Networks. This is a permanent position based in our Colchester office, offering a competitive salary of 65,241 plus car and a 3% bonus. After a 6-month probationary period, enjoy the flexibility of blended working with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Your Role: As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Lead and provide commercial expertise on several contracts within EPN. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and reporting contractor applications and change requests.
• Overseeing the payment process, resolving disputes, and producing commercial reports.
• Collaborating with external partners and internal teams to ensure contract compliance.
• Providing commercial support to UKPN staff and assisting with procurement processes.

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or Accountancy is beneficial, but knowledge of commercial processes within the utilities sector is also considered.
• Membership or working towards professional membership in an appropriate organisation such as RICS, ICES, or CIMA.
• Strong commercial skills, negotiation abilities, and knowledge of contracts used within the construction industry.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
