Job summary

ARC Group Worldwide is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join its pre-construction team in the United Kingdom. You will review drawings and specifications, perform take-offs, price shop drawings, and prepare detailed cost proposals for Mechanical Building Services projects, collaborating with suppliers and estimators.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience within a Mechanical Estimator role.
• Good understanding of Mechanical Building Services.
• Experience pricing projects within the M&E or Building Services sector.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tender deadlines.
• A proactive and organised approach to your work.
• Strong team-working skills alongside the ability to work independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, producing accurate and competitive tenders for a wide range of Mechanical Building Services projects. Working alongside experienced estimators and senior management, you'll be involved throughout the tender process, from analysing drawings and specifications through to supplier engagement, pricing and tender submissions.
