Urban Planters is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician to join a busy team in Kent. You will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide range of business environments, ensuring high-quality service for our growing client base.

Key duties include watering, feeding and pest control of live displays, replacing damaged plants, maintaining artificial displays, assisting with installations and completing timely maintenance paperwork in line with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK drivers licence is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous.
• A horticulture qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays.
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays.
• Maintain artificial plant displays.
• Assist with plant display installations.
• Assist with seasonal installations.
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed.
• Comply with relevant health and safety requirements.
• Build good supplier and customer relationships.
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities.

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

Location:Kent, UK

Contract: Part Time, Permanent

Hours: 24 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (3 day week)

Salary: £17,088 p/a

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.
