A leading horticultural service provider is seeking an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician in the UK to care for plant displays. Responsibilities include maintaining live and artificial plant displays, ensuring documentation is completed, and building client relationships. Job Title: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

Location: Southampton, Portsmouth & Basingstoke

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £25,732

Reporting To: Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
• Maintain artificial plant displays
• Assist with plant display installations
• Assist with seasonal installations
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
• Comply with relevant health and safety
• Building good supplier and customer relationships
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK drivers licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided

Additional Responsibilities

• Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation
• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
