Job summary

Barnet Council is seeking an Interim Valuation Surveyor to support the Property Services team in delivering high-quality asset valuations across the borough. The role involves site visits to sites and buildings, handling finance/audit inquiries, and managing a caseload while collaborating with colleagues.

We offer hybrid working with mandatory in-office Tuesdays, plus parking and IT equipment provision. The position supports the Growth and Estates services, contributing to development projects

• Undertake the Councils valuation requirements including general valuation advice, development site valuations, Asset Valuations and any other valuations as required.
• Undertake unaccompanied site visits of sites (including construction sites) and buildings.
• Handle and respond to finance and audit enquiries relating to asset valuations.
• Manage a caseload of asset valuation work and support other team members.

About the Role The post holder will:
