United Response is seeking a Registered Service Manager in Merseyside to lead a learning disability and mental health service. You will provide day-to-day leadership, ensure CQC compliance, manage budgets, and develop a diverse team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CQC Registered Manager in learning disability services.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience improving service quality and embedding good practice.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high quality, person-centred support.
• Hold CQC Registered Manager status and ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory and organisational standards.
• Lead, develop and motivate the staff team through effective supervision, recruitment and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, practice and service outcomes.
• Manage service budgets and ensure financial processes are followed.
• Build positive relationships with families, commissioners and partner agencies.
• Ensure safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance processes are robust and effective.
