Job summary

Leaders in Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Interim Registered Manager to oversee 2–3 Learning Disability and Autism services across Liverpool and Cheshire. This hands-on leadership role requires stabilising operations, driving person-centred care and ensuring high-quality outcomes for adults with complex needs.

You will lead service managers and frontline teams, safeguard residents, and ensure services meet CQC standards while maintaining strong governance and collaborative stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager in regulated adult social care.
• Ability to travel across Liverpool and Cheshire.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim leadership across 2–3 Learning Disability and Autism services.
• Support, develop and supervise service managers and frontline staff.
• Maintain a strong safeguarding culture and respond to operational concerns.
• Ensure care and support plans are genuinely person-centred and outcome-focused.
• Drive quality improvement, service stability and positive outcomes for people supported.
• Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, legislation and internal policies.
• Support recruitment, induction, retention and development of colleagues.
• Coach managers and teams to build capability, confidence and accountability.
• Review service performance, audits, incidents and action plans.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, families, professionals and external stakeholders.
