Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd seeks an Interim Regional Home Manager to provide leadership across three small specialist residential homes in Merseyside and Cheshire. You will work with Deputies and senior leaders to ensure safe, person-centred care and robust governance while driving improvements.

The role requires proven senior leadership in adult social care, strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to travel across the region. This interim post offers immediate impact and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager or Interim Manager within adult social care.
• Strong experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and Health and Social Care Act.
• Experience overseeing multiple residential services, or readiness for regional responsibility.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
• Hands-on and commercially aware operational management.
• Audit, quality assurance and action planning experience.
• Willingness to travel across Merseyside and Cheshire.
• Level 3 qualification; Level 5 leadership qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim operational leadership across three adult residential homes.
• Ensure each service remains safe, compliant, person-centred and responsive to individual needs.
• Maintain and embed safeguarding, risk management and high-quality care.
• Coach and develop Deputy Managers to lead their homes confidently.
• Monitor CQC compliance, quality assurance activity and improvement plans.
• Lead on governance and escalation across the region.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, induction and training.
• Promote positive behaviour support and trauma-informed practice.
• Build relationships with families, professionals and commissioners.
• Drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong performance.
