Women’s Aid Federation of England seeks an Interim Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to oversee public affairs strategies, enhance visibility, and manage campaigns addressing domestic abuse. Interim Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Remote (UK based) with regular travel to London
Salary: £42,750.00 (Grade 5) per year (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,483.94, if eligible)
Length of contract: 12-month fixed term
Hours per week: 37

Who are Women’s Aid?
Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of just under 180 organisations which provide over 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. For 50 years we have campaigned on behalf of our members and survivors to shape policy and practice, and to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
Our support services, which include our Live Chat, the Survivors’ Forum, the No Woman Turned Away Project, the Survivor’s Handbook, Love Respect (our dedicated website for young people), the national Women’s Aid Directory and our advocacy projects, help thousands of women and children every year.
Purpose of the Interim Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager:
The Interim Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager will play in key role in supporting the Head of External Affairs to implement key cross-organisational strategies, overseeing our stakeholder management system and lead the public affairs and campaigns function of the team. The postholder will enhance the profile of Women’s Aid among decision makers and the public and represent the needs of domestic abuse survivors to policy makers and influencers including the UK Government and Parliament.
