Job summary

Page Personnel is recruiting an Interim Procurement Manager for a public sector bus franchising programme in Sheffield. The role is hybrid, three days on site each week, six months, paying up to £500 per day (Inside IR35).

You will lead end-to-end procurement across a diverse portfolio, ensuring value for money, compliance, and timely delivery, while collaborating with senior stakeholders and legal colleagues to support strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Proven public sector procurement experience.
• Experience leading complex procurement exercises.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance and regulations.
• Ability to analyse spend data and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement across a diverse portfolio of goods and services.
• Manage market engagement, tender development, evaluation, award and contract implementation.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, programme teams, and legal colleagues.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and drive contract performance.
• Support procurement pipelines, spend analysis and reporting for efficiencies.
• Provide expert procurement guidance ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
• Identify process improvements to enhance governance and service delivery.
• Support bus franchising and transport procurement programmes where applicable.
