Job summary

Brava Education is recruiting an experienced Interim SENDCo for a mainstream primary school in Wigan to lead SEND and inclusion provision through to the end of the academic year.

The role combines hands-on SEND leadership with line management of the TA/HLTA team, EHCPs and statutory processes, plus Deputy DSL responsibilities. Teaching commitment will be part of the role, with exact percentage to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• QTS with at least four years’ primary teaching experience.
• Experience leading SEND and inclusion provision.
• Experience with EHCPs, statutory processes and SEND/EAL provision.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND and inclusion provision across the school.
• Line manage TA/HLTA team; support families, the LA and external agencies.
• Manage SEND-related funding and Deputy DSL responsibilities.
• Teaching duties may be required as part of the role.
