Job summary

Bike Club Limited is seeking a commercially driven performance marketer for a three-month engagement to oversee paid acquisition in the UK and Germany. You will manage our performance marketing agency, optimise across channels and ensure high-quality, sustainable new customers.

You'll use commercial and analytical judgement to allocate budget, set up a test-and-learn roadmap, and prepare a handover for the permanent hire, collaborating with Marketing, Data, Finance and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance marketing or growth within a consumer business or agency.
• Experience managing agencies and a multi-channel market.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement, able to turn data into clear actions.
• Able to land quickly and work well with Marketing, Data, Finance and Commercial colleagues.
• German market experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage our performance marketing agency and other acquisition partners, challenging recommendations where needed.
• Oversee day-to-day performance and optimisation of paid acquisition across the UK and Germany.
• Lead the restructure of paid search around parent needs and intent (sizing, outgrown bikes, exchange) rather than subscription terms.
• Recommend how acquisition budget is allocated across markets, channels and campaigns.
• Own reporting on CAC, conversion, ROAS, payback and customer value, working with Finance and Data.
• Set up a simple test-and-learn roadmap across channels, audiences, propositions, creative and landing pages.
• Focus on acquiring high-quality, sustainable customers, not just volume.

The Role

We need a commercially driven performance marketer for three months to manage and improve customer acquisition across the UK and Germany while we hire a permanent Performance Marketing Manager. You will manage our performance marketing agency and own delivery of our paid acquisition plan, using customer and commercial data to recommend where to invest, test and optimise. We are also open to a fractional role for the right candidate.

About You
