Job summary

Frazer Jones, on behalf of a Birmingham-based client, is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Manager on a 6-month contract to lead the function across the employee lifecycle and drive operational excellence.

You will develop a culture of continuous improvement and customer service, partner with HR Systems and Payroll, establish KPIs, and influence senior stakeholders while delivering end-to-end HR services. Hybrid working: 3 days at the office.

• Experience managing teams through managers and team leaders.

Our Birmingham based client is looking to hire an experienced HR Shared Services Manager on a contract basis, for an initial period of 6 months, working for a complex and highly regarded businesses that operates internationally.

In this role, you will lead an established HR Shared Services function, driving operational excellence across the employee lifecycle while developing continuing to develop a culture of continuous

improvement and excellent customer service. This is a highly visible leadership role, offering the

chance to influence service delivery, enhance HR processes and technology and lead transformational change HR.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading, supporting and developing an HR Shared Services team, creating a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance HR processes.
• Partnering closely with HR Systems, Payroll and wider HR teams to deliver efficient end-to-end service delivery.
• Establishing and monitoring KPIs, service standards and performance metrics.
• Acting as the senior SME for HR Shared Services processes and best practice.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the Business and influencing at all levels.

Our client is looking for:

Significant experience of leading an HR Shared Services, HR Operations or HR Administration function.

• A track record of improving processes, driving efficiencies and delivering change.
• Experience managing and developing teams through managers and team leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience working within a complex and/or multi-site environment.
• Strong understanding of HR systems and their role in driving operational excellence.
• Availability at relatively short notice.

What’s on offer:

6 month fixed term contract

• Salary c.£75,000 per annum with some flex for an exceptional candidate.
