Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is assisting a well-established multi-site organisation in Portsmouth to recruit an interim HR Business Partner. Based at the Head Office, the role focuses on employee relations, investigations, disciplinary procedures, absence and probation management, and contributing to HR policies and process improvements.

Travel to sites is expected; flexible working arrangements including a potential four-day week may be considered.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5-7 qualified with proven HR generalist experience.
• Strong background managing employee relations, including investigations and disciplinary procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide pragmatic HR advice to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to travel to sites as required.
• Proactive with a solution-oriented approach and willingness to support organisational development.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary procedures.
• Support staff absence and probation management to drive engagement and efficient operations.
• Assist in development and implementation of HR policies to enhance organisational effectiveness and staff wellbeing.
• Collaborate with managers to improve HR processes and offer practical, professional HR advice.
• Support HR projects and initiatives to promote continuous improvement within the organisation.
