Job summary

Ashley Kate HR & Finance is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client in Dorset on a hybrid basis. This generalist role focuses on operations, partnering with managers, advising on people decisions and using data to inform planning across multiple sites.

You will support employee relations, implement workforce initiatives, coach leaders and drive talent development within a supportive HR function and leadership team. This 18-month FTC offers real impact.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
• Experience supporting complex, multi-site or operationally focused businesses.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting HR data, metrics and trends.
• Confident influencing and challenging managers to achieve positive business outcomes.
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with managers and leaders across multiple sites to provide proactive HR support.
• Supporting employee relations activity, including complex case management, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
• Using HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights and support business planning.
• Coaching and developing managers to improve leadership capability and people management practices.
• Supporting organisational change projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Driving engagement, retention and talent development activities.
• Working collaboratively with wider HR teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality employee experience.
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policy.
