Job summary

First Call Contract Services seeks an Interim HR Advisor in West Bromwich to provide immediate HR support. The role is based in West Bromwich with travel to Cardiff and Lincoln, using a pool car for business trips.

The assignment is initially until the end of October, with potential extension based on business needs. Working hours are ideally 3 days per week, 8:30am-5:00pm, with flexibility for reduced hours and occasional extra hours.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in employee relations and HR advisory.
• Proven ability to provide practical HR guidance to line managers.
• Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and practical HR advice to line managers across the full employee lifecycle.
• Support employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including interviews and onboarding.
• Process employee changes and maintain HR system records.
• Coordinate and attend meetings with recognised trade unions.
• Build strong working relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
