Job summary

Corus Consultancy is seeking an HR adviser for a prestigious client based in West Bromwich. The role primarily operates in West Bromwich with occasional travel to Cardiff and Lincoln, for which a pool car is provided.

You will advise line managers on the Employment Life Cycle, support recruitment, interviews and onboarding, and handle system processing of employment changes. Trade union meetings coordination is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in a similar HR adviser role.
• Strong understanding of the Employment life cycle including absence management, grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Experience supporting recruitment, interviews and onboarding processes.
• Ability to process employment changes in HR systems.
• Experience coordinating with trade unions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advising Line Managers on the Employment Life Cycle, including Absence Mgt, Grievance, and Disciplinary matters.

We are currently recruiting for a HR adviser for our prestigious client based in West Bromwich .

The ideal candidate must have some previous experience working in a similar role .

The role would require you to work primary at West Bromwich but you may be required to work out of Cardiff and Lincoln on occasion -(A pool car will be available for this )

Must be able to drive

Summary of duties are below along with level of experience

Summary of Tasks:

• - Advising Line Managers on areas of the Employment Life cycle, these will extensively include Absence Mgt, Grievance, Disciplinary etc
• - Supporting with Recruitment, Interviews and Onboarding
• - System processing employment changes
• - Coordinate and attend trade union meetings

Level of Experience:

• - Experienced at interim type work and able to hit ground running quickly
• - Experienced Employee Relations Advisor
• - Trade Union experience is ideal, however not essential
• - Flexible to work additional hours if needed
• - Able to work independently and part of a team
• - Converse with varying level of the organisation
