Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in education or a relevant field.
• Experience in implementing change and driving improvements to working practices.
• Experience in budget management funding and ALS funding methodologies.
• Experience in developing stakeholder relationships and attending committees/networks.
• Experience in meeting audit/inspection requirements and implementing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and ongoing development for the ALS and SEND Support Management team to ensure high-quality learning support.
• Offer guidance and professional development opportunities to maintain a high standard of service.
• Oversee the design and delivery of staff training programs to enhance teaching and support for students with additional learning needs.
• Ensure a robust process for maintaining quality service to students in class, out of class, or in specialist teaching.
• Proactively seek opportunities to establish and grow funding streams for the provision and services to students.
• Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders related to SEND and ALS to reflect local and national trends.
