Interim Financial Controller, GBP60–GBP70,000 FTE

A diverse and growing business group, with trading entities across a range of sectors, is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join their leadership team on a contract to run to the end of the year. This is a key role providing full responsibility for financial reporting, audit, cashflow management, and driving efficiencies across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all statutory and management reporting.
• Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliant financial controls.
• Manage cashflow, working capital, and treasury activities to support business needs.
• Identify and drive process improvements to improve efficiency and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Interim/Contract Financial Controller or equivalent senior financial leadership role.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, audit, and cashflow management.
• Ability to operate in a multi-entity environment and lead cross-functional collaboration.

Contract to run to the end of the year; the role is offered on a full-time basis.
