Job summary

ICAEW is seeking an Interim Finance Manager in Plymouth to lead the finance team and safeguard robust financial controls during a key period. The role is hands-on and requires a commercially minded finance professional who can build relationships quickly and support senior leadership.

With experience in management accounting and financial reporting, you will oversee cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning while supporting year-end activities and audits.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience as Finance Manager or senior finance lead.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
• Experience developing and leading finance teams.
• Available to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the finance team.
• Oversee monthly management accounts and reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance.
• Forecast cash flow, budgeting and financial planning.
• Support year-end activities and audits.
• Drive process improvement across finance functions.
• Partner with operational and senior leaders.
• Provide financial insight to support decision-making.
