Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively engaged by a long-standing client, a specialist manufacturing business, to recruit an interim Finance Manager in Ivybridge with hybrid working after handover.

The role covers end-to-end finance, including monthly management reporting, cash flow forecasting, VAT and statutory reporting, and liaising with banks and auditors. Candidates should have 1–3 years’ management accounts experience and relevant accounting qualifications, preferably with Sage 200.

Qualifications

• Experience producing monthly management accounts.
• 1–3 years’ experience in management accounts.
• Good understanding of payroll administration.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management reporting information and accounts.
• Work with MD and senior management to provide financial insight.
• Daily bank reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable and supplier payments.
• VAT and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with banks and auditors.
• Produce cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Assist with year/quarter end statements.
• Prepare project costings.
