Job summary

Atkinson Moss Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a temporary/interim Finance Manager/Controller to take ownership of a broad finance function, combining financial control, reporting and business partnering within a dynamic operational business.

You will lead monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow; partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight and support decision-making; manage year-end, statutory reporting and audit; and develop the finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience in management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial control.
• Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders to drive commercial insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and medium-term planning.
• Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight and challenge performance.
• Support investment decisions through business cases and capital expenditure analysis.
• Manage year-end accounts, statutory reporting and external audit.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and accurate financial records.
• Oversee transactional finance, credit control and payroll.
• Lead, support and develop the wider finance team.
