Job summary

Atkinson Moss Ltd. is seeking a temporary/interim Finance Manager/Controller to own a broad finance function, combining financial control, reporting and business partnering within a dynamic operational business.

You will lead monthly management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, and partner with operational teams to drive commercial insight and support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills and a commercially focused approach.
• Experience across management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial control.
• Confident to work closely with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and medium-term business planning.
• Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight, challenge performance and support decision-making.
• Support investment decisions through business cases and capital expenditure analysis.
• Manage year-end accounts, statutory reporting and external audit.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and accurate financial records.
• Oversee transactional finance, credit control and payroll.
• Lead, support and develop the wider finance team.
