Job summary

ICAEW in Farnborough is seeking an experienced interim Financial Controller to lead the UK finance function within a globally connected technology and manufacturing environment. You will manage a small team and provide robust financial insight to senior stakeholders.

You will oversee monthly management accounts, budgeting, cashflow, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, payroll supervision and audit support while driving reporting improvements and regulatory compliance across the UK entity.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong analytical, communication and business-partnering skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with OneStream and AX or similar systems; Dynamics 365 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts, variance analysis, forecasts and budgets, balance sheet reconciliations and cash-flow management.
• Oversee statutory and corporate reporting, VAT and other returns, payroll supervision, audit support, insurance renewals and stock-control.
• Partner with senior leadership to support revenue, OPEX, EBITDA and net working-capital targets; drive reporting improvements and robust processes.
