Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an Interim Operations Manager for an established engineering and machinery manufacturing business in Newark. You will oversee day-to-day operations and lead a skilled team, ensuring projects progress, budgets tracked, and safety standards met.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with leadership experience in operations or manufacturing. It is a 6-month contract, outside IR35, with a day rate of £500.

Formación

• Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally in machinery manufacturing.
• Experience in Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager or General Management roles.
• Understanding of machinery manufacturing, fabrication and mechanical/electrical processes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day running of the business and coordinate operational activities.
• Lead and support an established team of project managers, engineers and workshop staff.
• Monitor budgets, project margins, costs and overall financial performance.
• Oversee machinery manufacturing, fabrication, welding and mechanical/electrical work.
• Coordinate workshop and site installation resources to meet customer commitments.
• Collaborate with the Director to resolve challenges and improve efficiency.
